Some work doesn’t sit on one computer. The pricing’s in the owner’s head. The job goes through two systems. And the invoice waits until someone gets to it, usually Sunday night. I’ll map how the work actually gets done, build AI into it, and hand it over.

Trades, signage, agribusiness, service firms, professional practices. The industry matters less than the pattern, which is a busy, high-value person stuck doing work a system should be doing.
If it’s one person and one job, the 90-day programme is usually the better start.

The Business Performance Plan
Diagnose
One to two hours by phone or video. We go through how your business runs and where time and money leak out. You get a written plan of what I’d build, in order. It’s free, and it’s yours to keep, whether you build it with me or not.
The first build
Stabilise
I write down how your business works, in one document everything else is built on. Then I build the first thing on the plan, the one with the biggest return, and get it working on your real jobs. This takes about four weeks.
The rest of the plan
Systemise
We work through the rest of the plan in order, and connect it to the tools you already use, like Xero or your job software. You check everything before it goes anywhere. Nothing happens that you can’t see.
Hand over
Transfer
Everything’s yours: the documents, the tools and the instructions. If you’d like me to keep looking after it, I can do that monthly. If you’d rather run it yourself, nothing stops working when I step back.
Every stage has a fixed price, in writing, before it starts. You decide after each one whether to keep going.
What it looks like built

Every job used to be priced from scratch, and the hardest ones ate half a day. We wrote down how Chris actually prices work and built that into a quoting tool. On one of the hardest jobs on the books, his quote by hand took about 3 hours 15 minutes. Through the tool, about 45 minutes.

A fencing contractor
He planned an hour for every quote. Through the system built on his own pricing, a timed quote took 25 minutes. The office told me invoices went from around two hours each to about thirty minutes. We built six tools in all, covering everything from site notes and crew logs to the invoice.
A tool only pays off if someone opens it every day. I learned that one the hard way. So now, before I build anything, I check who’s going to use it, and how.
